Council Meeting Information
For The Cities of Hurst, Euless and Bedford

You’ll find useful information below regarding attendance at the city council meetings for the cities of Hurst, Bedford, and Euless. It is our intention to encourage your presence and participation in local matters. We hope this convenience will help make the system more accessible to you so that you may be more encouraged to get involved and influence positive change!

HURST - (Official website)
When: Tuesdays (2’nd & 4th of each month)
Time: 6:30pm.
Where: City Hall

Additional Info: Meeting agendas will be posted on city website after 4 PM on the Friday prior to each meeting week.

EULESS - (Official website)
When: Tuesdays (2’nd & 4th of each month)
Time: 4:00 pm “working (pre-council) meeting” / 7:00 pm Council meeting (both sessions are open to the general public)

Additional Info: The public can ask questions of the council, however, unless one is actually on the agenda, the council is not allowed to respond to your question.
To be put on agenda: contact City Secretary one week prior to meeting.

BEDFORD - (Official website)
When: Tuesdays (2n’d & 4th of each month)
Time: 7:00 pm.
Where: Counsel Chambers (Building A)

Additional Info: The general public can speak and/or ask questions of the council. However, the council is not allowed to respond to the publics questions/comments unless you are actually on the agenda.
To be put on the agenda: one must submit in writing the subject you’d like to speak on, your name, address, and telephone number, and which city council meeting you’d like to be included. The information should be given to the City Secretary, who is also located in Building A. Inform the Secretary that what you’re submitting is “On Persons To Be Heard” for the agenda. The above information must be submitted by noon the Wednesday prior to the meeting in which you’d like to speak.

*Note:
The length of the city council meetings generally last at least an hour and may last several, depending on the agenda.
