July 3 Highway Clean Up

Tomorrow morning’s highway clean up will be rescheduled if it’s raining. If it’s clear, please help us make quick work of it! See you at Market Street Grocery Store, 5605 Colleyville Blvd., at 8:30 a.m.

4th of July Party Boat

Back by popular demand – a MCD Independence Day celebration on Lake Grapevine for the “Annual Fireworks Extravaganza”.

Reservations are required. Tickets are $30 per adult ($25 for MCD members) and $15 for children under age 12. Checks are made payable to Mid-Cities Democrats or pay online.

We will gather at the Silver Lake Marina, 2500 Fair Way Drive, Grapevine at 5:30 p.m., and board at 5:45 p.m. The boat returns to the marina after the fireworks end, around 10:00 p.m.

Food and drink are available for purchase and picnic dinners are welcome. Bring your swimsuits and a lawn chair.

TCDP Charters Buses to State Convention

The Tarrant County Democratic Party will provide chartered bus service to Corpus Christi for those attending the State Convention. Seats can be reserved for $65.00 each; children under 18 for $50.00 each.

Buses will leave Fort Worth from two locations on Thursday, June 24th:
1) Tarrant County College South Campus, 5301 Campus Drive, Fort Worth 76119 at 7:00AM.

2) Tarrant County College Northeast Campus, 828 W. Harwood Road, Hurst 76054 at 7:45AM.

The deadline to reserve seats is Wednesday, June 10th. Each bus seats 52 persons. The bus will deliver riders to their respective hotels in Corpus and will provide round-trip transportation to the convention site on Friday and Saturday.

“Fundraiser For the Future” Dinner Sold Out

Seated dinner reservations are full for this Friday’s Bill White “Fundraiser for the Future”, at the First United Methodist Church, 5601 Pleasant Run Road, at 6:00 p.m. Those still interested in attending may pay a $15 suggested donation for a seat only.

“This sell out was expected – Bill White’s support crosses party lines and demographics,” said Dorie Cranshaw, Mid-Cities Democrats President.
